PROF. DR. SERHII KHOROSHYLOV has more than 30 years of experience in space and computer systems. The results of his work have been awarded by the President of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the State Space Agency of Ukraine. Mathematical models, methods, techniques and algorithms developed by him were used by the Pivdenne Design Office in the development of a number of space missions. Took part in the international project LEOSWEEP (improving Low Earth Orbit Security with Enhanced Electric Propulsion), financed by the European Union. Academic titles Professor of the Department of Specialized Computer Systems, 2020 Senior researcher, specializing in “Dynamics, ballistics and control of flying vehicles”, 2006. Scientific degree Doctor of Technical Sciences in “Control theory and systems”, 2014. PhD in “Dynamics, ballistics and control of flying vehicles”, 2000. Education Institute of Technical Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences, PhD program in “Dynamics, ballistics and control of flying vehicles “, 1999. Dnipropetrovsk State University, Master in “Control engineering”, 1995. Job positions Lead research scientist of the department of system analysis and control problems of the Institute of technical mechanics of the National academy of sciences Ukraine and State space agency of Ukraine. Full Professor of the department of specialized computer systems of the Ukrainian state university of chemical technology (part time). Research interests Dynamics and control of space systems; theory of adaptive and robust control; machine learning; transformable space structures; space debris. Publications published more than 150 scientific works, including 4 monographs. Teaching activity Supervision of bachelors, masters and PhD students. Teaching courses: Phd: Dynamics and control of flying vehicles; Master’s degree: Development and design of machine learning systems; Bachelor’s degree: Design of artificial intelligence systems, Internet of Things, Theory of automatic control, Methods of system identification, and others. Scientific journal positions and activities member of the editorial board of following scientific journals: “Computer modeling: analysis, control, and optimization” (UDHTU); Technical Mechanics (ITM NASU and SSAU); Bulletin of Dnipro State University, series “Rocket and Space Technologies” (DSU). Reviewer of the following international journals: Acta Astronautica, Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, Advances in Space Research, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Space Science and Technologies and others. Other positions and activities SSAU expert in the Interagency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC); Member of the certification commission and the central body of the Space Technology Certification System in Ukraine; Member of the expert council of the Department of attestation of highly qualified personnel of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
